When buffalo see an impending storm over the mountains they turn and move directly into the storm. They are not like cattle who run away from the storm. Instead the buffalo moves with purpose into the storm.

 

By moving toward the storm they minimize the amount of pain, time and frustration they experience from the storm. The cattle, on the other hand, tire quickly as they run from the storm, exhausted get are often overtaken by the storm prolonging their suffering and they experience more injuries from the storm.
